Benedict Cumberbatch announced for Sherlocked

20 Sep 2016

Benedict Cumberbatch is the latest guest to be announced for SHERLOCKED: The Official Sherlock Convention on 23-25 September 2016, at the ExCeL Exhibition Centre in London.

He joins Mark Gatiss (Mycroft Holmes, writer and series co-creator), Steven Moffat(writer and series co-creator), Sue Vertue (series producer), Andrew Scott (Moriarty) Una Stubbs (Mrs Hudson), Amanda Abbington (Mary), Natasha O’Keefe (The Bride in The Abominable Bride) and more, with many more to be announced over the coming weeks and months.

The event takes on a ‘partially Victorian’ theme this year – “to acknowledge the success of the 2016 special The Abominable Bride” – and Natasha O’Keefe makes her first appearance at a Sherlock convention, with event organisers predicting her portrayal of The Bride will inspire a large number of costumed visitors!

More information can be found on the official event website, with details of all plans for the event and further announcements over the next eight months. Tickets for the event are available to purchase from today, and once again there are various packages catering for all fans and every budget, giving everyone the opportunity to make the most of the weekend.

Sherlock fans in North America will also have their own SHERLOCKED convention this time around, with details to be announced soon.

Dates: Friday 23, Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September 2016
