Check in to the Edge of Heaven this February

12 Feb 2014

A new comedy drama series from Hartswood Films starts this February on ITV1. The Edge of Heaven is Margate’s finest – and indeed only – 80s themed B&B, home to the organised chaos of the Taylor-Chatterjee family and run by Wham! fan Judy (Camille Coduri) and her husband Tandeep (played by Nitin Kundra)…

The guesthouse is also home to her two grown up children – sofa salesman and lover in love Alfie (Blake Harrison), and his de-mobbed soldier sister Ann-Marie (Laura Checkley).

Beginning on Friday 21st February, 9pm on ITV1, episode 1 sees Alfie left at the altar by his fiancée Carly (Justine Cain) – can they iron out their differences over the course of the series, or will best mate Michelle (Louisa Lytton) step in and carry on where Carly left off?

Guiding Alfie through his heartbreak are best mates Donkey (Nav Sidhu) and Spanner (Raphael Sowole), incorrigible gran Mo (Marcia Warren) and his two Uncle Garys (Adrian Scarborough and Robert Evans).

Watch Edge of Heaven on ITV1 starting Friday 21st February, 9pm.
