Sherlock nominated for two National Television Awards

Hartswood Films’ highly-acclaimed series Sherlock┬áhas been nominated for two National Television Awards in the Drama, and Drama Performance: Male category for Benedict Cumberbatch.

The contemporary take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic goes head-to-head in both its nominated categories with Doctor Who, also executively produced by Sherlock co-creator Steven Moffat.

The National Television Awards is an annual showcase of the most popular television series, voted online by the public. This year’s star-studded ceremony will feature a special tribute to the London 2012 Olympics and will be screened live on ITV1 on Wednesday 23rd January from London’s O2 Arena.
