Sherlock wins two Bulldog Awards

Hartswood Films’ Sherlock has won two Televisual Magazine Bulldog Awards, celebrating the best of British TV.
Sherlock won the Best Drama Series Award: “The BBC’s reinvention of Conan Doyle’s master detective proved to be a genuine summer hit, winning more than 7m viewers.”
Sherlock also won the award for Editing, recognising the work of Charlie Phillips and Mali Evans: “This contemporary update of the Sherlock Holmes novels was powered along by engaging, witty editing that complemented the story and offered fresh perspective and insight into Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s stories.”
Hartswood Films was highly praised for being a top Indie, making “compelling, talked about television.” The awards were celebrated at a gala dinner for the winners held on Thursday 26th May at The Hospital Club, Covent Garden.
