Producer and Head of Development
   

Elaine has been with Hartswood Films for ten years after a brief stint in advertising and an enjoyable eighteen months with Palace Films, working on various television projects with writers such as Alan Plater and director Ken Loach.

As Hartswood Films' Head of Development, Elaine has worked closely with Beryl Vertue on a variety of productions including A WOMAN'S GUIDE TO ADULTERY, MY GOOD FRIEND and THE ENGLISH WIFE. She has script-edited five series and four Christmas specials of
MEN BEHAVING BADLY and three series of IS IT LEGAL? as well as editing the best-selling book THE A-Z OF BEHAVING BADLY and a new MEN BEHAVING BADLY book recently published. Elaine co-produced WONDERFUL YOU and BORDER CAFÉ, and Produced
AFTER THOMAS for ITV and JEKYLL for BBC1. She is currently working on an exciting slate of new film, comedy and drama projects for Hartswood Films.
